Fire Awareness

Fire has human and financial costs. Workplace incidents account for 11,100 fires. This training session will give participants an awareness of fire safety in the workplace and the duties and responsibilities that are required in the event of a fire. With the fire awareness, staff should be more confident with the actions to take to prevent fire and the emergency procedures.
Aim:
To give all participants an awareness of fire prevention and the actions to take in the event of a fire.
The course content:
The course is divided into six modules and includes an assessment at the end:
• Causes of fire.
• The fire triangle.
• How fire spreads.
• Fire legislation.
• Fire risk assessment.
• Fire equipment.
Certification:
A certificate of attendance is awarded on completion of the course; this is subject to satisfaction of the instructor and at the end of the course assessments.
Course fee:
£POA including a maximum of 12 staff members
